Allright, I've been back for however many days, so I guess I should start telling you guys about my trip, yes? I'm just going to do a few days at a time, since I have pictures to post too.
Saturday, March 15
This was basically just our travel day. We flew out of JFK and our flight was at 7:30 so we left town around 3ish or so and proceeded to drive 3 hours to the airport. It was long and it was boring, and there's not much to say about it. The airport was pretty uneventful as well. I didn't know I had to take my shoes off to go through the security check thing, and I was quite surprised by that. Our plane was delayed and while we were waiting by the gate our pilot, Jeff, came over and talked to us. He was kind of creepy in an old man hitting on young girls kind of way, but you know, I just read my book and ignored him. Our flight was awesome though, because we were in the front row, and we made friends with the very gay flight attendants, who I'm convinced were doing it. But it was awesome. Also there was a lightning storm right next to us and it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I've never realized how all the lightning happens like simultaneously. It's very very neat. Other than that, there's not much to say about our travel day. We didn't get in till like midnight to the hotel and we just passed out.
Sunday, March 16
There was a breakfast buffet at our hotel so we went there almost everyday for breakfast. It was ok, nothing special. Food is food right? We went to Epcot this day, but we decided to sit out by the pool for a little bit before we left. I'm not a big 'tanning' kind of person, so I just read my book, which I did for most of the vacation lol. After that we headed over to Epcot. We had a lot of fun. Started the day with the ride inside the golf ball and it was awesome to see Bridget's reaction because it was her first Disney ride. The lines weren't too bad, the longest was test track which was like an hour, but totally worth it. We wanted to eat dinner at the British pub but they were booked for the night so we couldn't eat there. I was very excited to see the Twinnings tea shop, since
biffyhouse sent me some for Christmas!! But I was stupid and didn't buy anything there, and really didn't speand nearly enough time in the UK as I wanted to. But we basically just walked through all the countries and it was lots of fun. We got Margaritas in Mexico and I couldn't finish mine. We also went on the Finding Nemo ride, which I think is geared towards little kids, but we did it anyways, and it made me miss my fish, which is the weirdest thing ever but ok. Also, Turtle Talk with Crush may be the cutest thing ever in the history of cute things. We also saw Illuminations and that was really really neat, even though I've seen it before. Very moving. I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of stuff, Bridget you can tell me if I missed anything but now, onto pictures!
Also, I've uploaded some of our videos onto youtube. So far,
